Research Technician:

Job Description

Seeking technician to assist in the Research and Development (R&D) of novel therapeutics for hemophilia A. Incumbent will assist in performing and documenting experiments and in general laboratory maintenance or other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in relevant scientific discipline with 0-2 years of experience. Laboratory skills in molecular and cellular biology techniques such as recombinant DNA, PCR, gel electrophoresis, Southern/Northern/Western blotting, and tissue culture are highly desirable. Additionally, must have computer skills in MS Office programs and ability to learn new program specific software(s). Incumbent must be able to evaluate results and implement novel experimental designs to improve upon existing results. Laboratory maintenance will consist of ordering and handling of laboratory supplies/inventory and general equipment/laboratory maintenance. Individual must be highly motivated and able to work independently once trained.
